Up for sale is a slightly and tastefully modified excellent condition Datsun 510 2 door sedan.
This car has never seen winter and has been garage kept and meticulously cared for its entire life .
Virtually a one owner car purchased off the original owner in 1974.
The engine was upgraded in 1980 to a 2000 cc L20b coupled with the matching 4 speed manual transmission- all stock.
The suspension has been modified including Bilstein shocks, stiffer springs, upgraded sway bars and lowering. This was done in the early 80’s and I cannot remember all the exact details.
It has a stiff ride and handles exceptionally well.
The car was fully painted in 2001 with acrylic enamel and it has seen very little driving time since then. The car is rust free.
There is a small dent in front of the right front wheel lower panel - shown in the photos.
The car has a tiny bit of filler on the left crown of the wheel lip and on the front right quarter panel lower.
The car was involved in a minor rear collision in 2001 resulting in a new bumper and a tail light bezel. This collision prompted the full high quality paint job. Records are available.
The interior is original with the obvious wear on the drivers seat as shown. Nothing has been recovered or replaced.
Professionally installed flush mount sunroof- no leaks.
Factory tinted windows.
Bottom line - this car is a true survivor , an absolute riot to drive and turns heads.
I cannot stress how well this car has been cared for and how excellent the overall condition is.
A very rare gem.
