I am sending this to several of you that are interested in my 1972 510 wagon. It’s in worse shape than I thought when I posted it.

It does not run currently. Haven’t tried in over 20 yrs. It will take some work to get it running as it has deteriorated quite a bit. Critters and heat have done a lot of damage. I can’t find any paperwork and it is off DMV, so I need to have it reinspected to relicense.

I don’t know why the ignition is pulled but I do have neighbors that were bored when they were teenagers.

I plan to load it on my flatbed in a couple of weeks and bring it into town and clean it up. I have been nursing a broken toe so haven’t done much.

Just putting feelers out there. Plan to sell, just not sure if selling now or after I get it going again.

Put in a rebuilt engine in 1980, less than 2500 on that one I think.

Drove it on the property or at least ran if for a while monthly until 1997 when I had my daughter. It has sat since.

Fair condition. Painted primer, but small cracks on the hood, dent in the door where branch landed.

Larger alum wheels (tires OLD).

Took out A/C but might have all the parts still (Dad believed saving 1 mpg was worth removing, though gas was .85-1.25 gallon!)

An ex bf had it a while and it developed an electrical drain, possibly the carb fuel shut off, so would need to disconnect battery

Also, it was originally two cars, back of a wagon welded to the front of a sedan.

As I remember, it got about 25 mpg combined. It was fun to drive. I worked in Yosemite during the summers, so would drive it between Yosemite and Three Rivers on days off. It handled great.
